Suboptimal medication management is the biggest driver of cost, unrealized treatment goals, poor treatment outcomes, and mortality in the United States, representing $528 Billion is costs – roughly 15% of total US healthcare spend.
Traditional strategies to improve medication management have been on the provider side, but as gravity of this problem has grown in awareness, payers are now deploying innovative strategies and solutions to address issues in the several areas of medication management; including, post-discharge medication reconciliation, deprescribing, primary and secondary non-adherence, and condition specific medication management.
During this webinar moderated by Cureatr, a panel of experts on both the provider and payer side of healthcare will discuss the challenges and opportunities that exist for both parties and what each can be doing to support the other.
